  1. Cold hands and feet are a common problem. When your body senses a loss of heat it compensates by slowing circulation to the extremities. This problem is compounded in wet conditions causing extremities to feel 25 times colder than when they're dry.

  2. Fungus grows in your shoes, gloves and boots because it's moist and dark. The fungus will continue to grow, smell and live in your shoes or boots until the moisture is removed. Dry Guy boot dryers eliminate the moisture and thereby killing the fungus. You're left with warm, clean, odor-free, moisture-free, warm boots, gloves and shoes.

  3. To eliminate foot odor, practice good foot hygiene to keep bacteria levels at a minimum, dust your feet frequently with a no medicated baby powder or foot powder. Applying antibacterial ointment also may help.

  4. Moisture builds up in ski boots when ski boots get wet. Many people suspect that their boots have sprung a leak. This is highly unlikely given the quality of boots manufactured today. What's more likely is that the moisture us coming form inside the boot. Of all parts of your body, your feet have the highest number of sweat glands per square inch. The insulating material absorbs moisture before moving in vapor form toward the shell of the boot. As vapor approaches the shell, it meets cold temperatures and condenses. Over time the buildup in moisture reduces the boot's ability to insulate the foot, diminishing body temperature 25 times faster than air.

  5. Chinook boot dryers are for anyone who works outdoors like construction workers, department of transportation workers, farmers, builders, policemen, fireman, flagmen etc. Wet boots get cold and damp from moisture buildup. By using a boot dryer and removing the moisture, your feet will feel warm and dry.
